What to do if the Canon Printer indicates that the ink has run out?
Replace the ink tank and close the Scanning Unit (Printer Cover) because the ink has run out. Printing under this condition may damage the machine. If you want to continue printing, release the function for detecting the remaining ink level by pressing and holding the Stop/Reset button for at least 5 seconds, and then release it. Be advised that Canon is not liable for any malfunction caused by continuing to print when the ink is out.
