8.9. Recommendations
The device cannot be repaired. In the event of a failure, contact the Cardioline Authorised Service Centre to
assess the extent of the failure and, possibly, to replace the device.
In any case, where a non-compliant operation is suspected, the following procedures are recommended:
Check the operation as specified in par. 8.8.
In order to guarantee continuous electric safety, carry out verifications on the device (refer to the
method and at limit to IEC 60601-1 or ANSI/AAMI ES1).

8.10. Troubleshooting table
The HD+ is attempting to connect to the PC.
If the HD+ cannot connect, move closer to the PC.
Replace the AAA batteries.
By pressing the power
on button, the LED
remains off and no
acoustic signal is
emitted.
If the LED is off (device off) and when pressing the
power on button the LED remains off and no acoustic
signal is emitted, the batteries are completely
discharged.
Replace the AAA batteries to power on the HD+.
By pressing the power
on button the LED
remains off but the
device emits an
acoustic signal
If after replacing the batteries, by pressing the power
on button the LED remains off but an acoustic signal is
emitted, the LED is faulty. Contact the Cardioline
technical service.
The LED is on but no
acoustic signal is
emitted
The audible warning
device is faulty
If upon power-on or when connecting the HD+ to the
PC no acoustic signal is emitted but the LED is on, the
audible warning device is faulty. Contact the Cardioline
technical service.
