Reference table for the connection to the patient
Fourth intercostal space to the right of the
sternum.

7.3. ECG acquisition
Use the LED indicator to check the proper connection between the HD+ and the receiver.
The LED flashing indicator signals that the HD+ is attempting to connect to the receiver but is not yet
connected. The steady LED indicator signals that the HD+ is properly connected to the receiver.
Follow the instructions contained in Chapter 6 to prepare the device. Specifically:
1. Insert two AAA batteries into the dedicated compartment. If the battery is too low, the HD+ may not
power on. Insert two new batteries into the device to continue the operation.
