3.12 EMI fi lter (PSD10**2**)
The EMI fi lter is an optional that can be supplied separately to be used with Power + drives PSD10122** e PSD
10162** to reduce the emissions to the levels envisioned by EN61800-3 category C1.
The fi lter must be connected between the power supply and terminals L1/L, L2/N and earth of the drive.

Important:
• Connect power supply cable and drive as shown on the label.
• Position the fi lter as near as possible to the drive in a way to minimise connection cable length.
• Connect the fi lter metal casing to earth.
3.13 DC Choke (PSD10**4**)
The DC choke is an optional that can be supplied separately to be used with the Power+ drives with three-phase
power supply (PSD10**4**) to reduce the harmonic currents to the levels envisioned by EN61000-3-12.
The choke has four holes for fi xing to the wall.

Important:
• Position the choke as near as possible to the drive in a way to minimise connection cable length (max 2m).
• For connection to the drive use cables with section at least equal to the power supply cable.
• Envision the space necessary for connection of the cables to the choke terminals.
