Why is my Carrier Air Conditioner unit completely stopped?
    • M
      Martin AdkinsAug 1, 2025
A complete stoppage of your Carrier Air Conditioner can occur for several reasons. It may be due to an active alarm, satisfied cooling and heating loads, the programmed occupancy schedule, a general power failure, tripped circuit breakers (CB1, CB2, or CB3), a blown fuse (FU1--4), the unit being turned off through the CCN network, the supply-air temperature being less than the Minimum SAT Lower Level configuration value, the outdoor-air temperature being less than the Compressor Lockout Temperature configuration value, or the outdoor-air temperature being greater than the Heating Lockout Temperature configuration value. If an alarm is active, diagnose the problem using the information provided in Alarms and Alerts section.
