Run Mode (Heating, Air Conditioning, or Fans)
The user must select a run mode before the heating, air conditioning, or fans will operate.
• HVAC OFF – Power Unit and HVAC system is turned OFF. If outlet is enabled, the power unit will
continue to run.
• MANUAL HEAT – The electric and/or air heater runs depending on configuration. Operator can select
desired temperature and fan speed. Cab temperate must be lower than 85F for this mode to function.
Power outlet is enabled.
• MANUAL COOL – Air conditioning system will run. Temperature and fan speed may be adjusted by
operator. Cab temperature must be higher than 65 F for cooling to occur. Power outlet is enabled.
• MANUAL FANS – The fan will operate at the operator’s selected fan speed. Power outlet is enabled.
• COMF MON - (Comfort Monitor) – System will automatically choose heating or cooling modes to
maintain set temperature. The fan speed may change automatically if required. Power outlet is enabled.
Depending on unit configuration, the APU engine may start-stop automatically when setpoint is
reached while operating in this mode.
