Malfunction decision conditions
When the indoor fan speed is too slow (300 RPM
or less) for 3 minutes or more, the unit stops and
the LED displays the Error Code for 30 seconds.
Then retries until locks out.
Supposed Causes
• Wiring mistake
• Fan motor stalled or faulty
• PCB faulty
Troubleshooting:
E3 error on a MAQ will lock out the system and
display E3 until error is fixed or system restarted
Free up, replace any broken
parts so fan spins freely
Shut OFF the power supply.
Rotate the Indoor fan by hand.
Does the fan rotate freely?
No
Yes
With power still OFF, open
MAQ, remove outer cover
and electrical cover.
