Safe Trailer Brake Function
Keeping tractor/trailer combination stretched!
When the tractor decelerates at a faster rate than the
trailer, especially when heavily loaded or travelling down
hill, he aile cold aemp o oeake he aco.
The trailer can swerve pushing the rear of the tractor
sideways resulting in a jack knife.
To prevent this, the trailer brakes can be applied while
the tractor is still applying a pulling force.
Keep the MC- forward shuttle button pressed
automatic gear change while braking is deactivated
and transmission remains frozen in present gear
By applying the service brakes of both tractor and
trailer are simultaneously braking while the tractor
continues to pull, the tractor/trailer combination will
be stretched Æ aco pll he aile don he
hill.
Activation of this feature is shown in A-pillar display.
