Why is the pitch of my Casio Musical Instrument off?
    • E
      ericalaraJul 26, 2025
If the pitch of your Casio Musical Instrument is off, it could be due to the following reasons: 1. The key setting is something other than “0”. Change the key setting to “0”, or turn the digital piano off and then back on again. 2. The tuning is incorrect. Adjust the tuning, or turn the digital piano off and then back on again. 3. Octave shift is enabled. Change the octave shift setting to 0. 4. A non-standard temperament setting is being used. Change the temperament setting to “00:Equal”, which is the standard modern tuning.

Why is there no sound when I press a key on my Casio Musical Instrument?
    • N
      nicholasgriffinAug 1, 2025
There are several reasons why your Casio Musical Instrument might not be producing sound when you press a key: * The VOLUME controller may be set to “MIN”. If so, rotate the VOLUME controller towards “MAX”. * Headphones or an adaptor plug may be plugged into one of the PHONES jacks. Disconnect anything connected to these jacks. * MIDI Local control may be turned off. If this is the case, turn on the Local control setting.

What to do if my Casio PRIVIA PX-135 is taking a long time to turn on?
    • A
      Andrew BishopAug 7, 2025
If your Casio Musical Instrument takes a long time to turn on, it is likely that the memory data was corrupted because a data transfer operation with a computer was in progress the last time you turned it off. When this occurs, the Digital Piano performs a memory format operation the next time you turn it on. You will need to wait about 20 seconds after you turn on the power for the memory format operation to complete. Avoid turning off the Digital Piano while a data transfer operation with a computer is in progress.
