9-3. Operation of each test
[ 1 ] Series test
This test will perform the following tests in series.
Printer connects to COM1.
1) RAM Write/Read
2) LCD test
3) LCD back light test
4) Printer test
5) Time and Date
6) Drawer open test
Note : Make sure to set the baud rate of the printer which is used to 9600bps.
Details refer to the page of each test.
Operation : 1 SUB TOTAL
1) RAM Write/Read
2) LCD test
If the result is OK, press 1 KEY.
If the result is NG, press 9 KEY.
3) LCD back light test
This is a test for the backlight. Since the backlight is
turned off, the display is difficult to see.
If the result is OK, press 1 KEY.
If the result is NG, press 9 KEY.
4) Printer test
If a printer is connected, the result is printed as shown
in the right figure.
5) Time and Date
6) Drawer open test
If the result is OK, press 1 KEY.
If the result is NG, press 9 KEY.
Note : In case of error, the following error message will be printed.
"STD RAM WT NG............." = RAM write error
"FLASH WT NG............." = FLASH write error
