channel
parameter
setting
You
can
use
the
MIXER
function
to
set
the
tone,
volume,
panning,
effect
depth,
tuning,
and
expression
of
each
channel.
To
make
these
settings,
use
the
same
procedures
that
you
use
with
the
MIXER
(Tone
Expander)
on
page
E-40
and
the
MIXER
(Accomp
Mixer)
on
page
E-36.
1.
TONE
This
parameter
sets
a
tone
for
each
MIDI
channel.
Note
¢
The
WK-1500
allows
setting
of
a
value
from
0
to
7
for
channel
10,
which
is
in
accordance
with
the
General
MIDI
specification
of
channel
10
as
a
Percussion-only
channel.
Note,
however,
that
the
WK-1500
can
receive
values
other
than
0
to
7
over
channel
10.
Received
values
are
converted
as
shown
in
the
following
table.

This
parameter

the
volume

MIDI
channel.

This
parameter
sets
the
pan
(stereo
left/right
position
during
playback)
of
each
MIDI
channel.
4.
EFFECT
SEND
This
parameter
sets
the
depth
of
the
effect
(REVERB,
CHORUS,
etc.)
of
each
MIDI
channel.
Note
*
The
optimum
effect
depth
setting
depends
on
the
type
of
effect
being
used.
Try
out
a
number
of
different
settings
using
different
effects
to
get
an
idea
of
how
settings
influence
effects.
