10. Reprogramming a Microchipped Cat or I.D Disc
10.1 Pressthe‘PROG’buttonfor5seconds,thenextunused

aroundtherst‘TWOZEROS’.
10.2 Pressthe‘+’buttontoselecttheappropriateCat
numberyouwishtoreprogramorselectthenext
availableCatnumber.(A‘P’nexttotheCatnumber
indicatesthatithasalreadybeenprogrammed,although
youmayreprogramasfollows).
10.3 Toprogramyourcat’smicrochip,encourageyourcat
toslowlypassthroughthetunnelbyholdingtheap
openasshowninFig.4.Alternatively,toprograma
replacementI.D.Disc,placethefrontoftheI.D.Discin
thetunnelopening(Fig.5).
10.4 Whenprogrammed,the‘TWOZEROS’willdisappear
and‘Pr’willash.
10.5 Pressthe‘PROG’buttontosavethesetting.
For additional cats, up to a maximum of 9, repeat steps

11. Factory Reset
Toresetthecatapbacktothesettingwhenyourstbought
it,pressandholdthe‘+’buttonforabout30secondsuntilall
symbolsshowonLCD.Afteraperiodofselfchecking,the‘IN
&OUT’symbolwillbeallthatisvisibleontheLCDdisplay.This
procedurewilleraseallI.D.Disc(s)/microchip(s)andallother
settings.Youwillthenneedtore-programtheI.D.Disc(s)/
microchip(s)(SeeSection3).
12. High Security Mode
Thiscatapissuppliedwithhighsecuritymodedisabledas
thismakesiteasyforyourcattogetusedtoitsnewap.In
thismodetheaphasthequickestpossibleresponsetimeto
thecat’smicrochip.
Oncethecathasbecomeaccustomedtousingthecatapit
isrecommendedthathighsecuritymodeisenabled.Thisgives
improvedsecurityagainstentrancebyraccoonsandpersistent
neighbourhoodcatsandlongerbatterylife.
Youcanswitchtheaptohighsecuritymode(‘Eon’)as
follows:
