The key symptoms of migraine headaches are duraon, characteriscs of pain, and
associated symptoms.
Migraines generally last from about 4 to 72 hours and are typically located on one side
of the head.
The pain increases and decreases in a pulse-like manner.
Associated with the pain, you may also experience nausea/voming, increased
sensivity to light, and/or increased sensivity to sounds.
Some people with migraine also develop aura symptoms (refer to denions) . For
migraine with aura, these symptoms are fully reversible and last from about 5-60
minutes prior to headache onset (see Fig. 15).
