Store the Drill Press Properly
WARNING. Always ensure that the drill press is
switched off and the POWERhandle is removed
from the charger dock before disassembling the
product.
1. Remove the post lever from the side of the
post.
2. Release the chuck and remove any cutting
tool.
3. Pull the green product lock backward and
with the other hand slide the drill head down and
out of the post’s mating faces.
4. Lift the green post release lever up to release
the post from the case.
5. Slide the post out from the case hole.
6. Open the lid of the case, replace the tools into
the lift out tray and putting them back into the
case for storage.
NOTE: The lift out tray is for easy storage and
protection of tools inside the case.
7. Return the post into its storage area on the
back of the case.
8. Disconnect the product from the mains power
and return the SCP to its storage area.
General Inspection
Regularly check that all the fixing screws are
tight, they may vibrate loose over time. Ensure
that all vents are clear of dust, swarf and debres.
