How to fix CERTIFIED Pressure Washer motor that will not start?
    • N
      Nina MonroeAug 16, 2025
If your CERTIFIED Pressure Washer motor won't start, first, make sure the On/Off switch is in the ON (|) position. Next, check that the power cord is properly plugged in. If you're using an extension cord, ensure it's either a 25’ (7.6 m) 14/2 gauge or a 50’ (15 m) 14/2 gauge cord, replacing it if needed. Finally, try a different electrical outlet to rule out power supply issues.

Why does the output pressure of my CERTIFIED VE17 vary?
    • L
      Laura CarrollAug 18, 2025
If the output pressure of your CERTIFIED Pressure Washer varies from high to low, start by fully turning on the water supply and checking the garden hose for any kinks, leaks, or blockages. Also, ensure that the hoses and fittings are airtight and purge the pump by turning off the machine and squeezing the trigger gun until a steady flow of water emerges through the nozzle. Clean the water inlet filter by removing it and rinsing it with warm water. Finally, inspect the discharge nozzle for any obstructions and clear them with a fine needle. If the gun, hose, or power nozzle is calcified, run distilled vinegar through the detergent tank.

What to do if my CERTIFIED VE17 Pressure Washer doesn't reach high pressure?
    • R
      Roberta AllenAug 22, 2025
If your CERTIFIED Pressure Washer isn't reaching high pressure, first, replace the garden hose with a 1” (25 mm) or 5/8” (16 mm) hose. Then, check the garden hose for any kinks, leaks, or blockages that might be restricting the water supply. Ensure the water source is fully open to provide enough water. Clean the water inlet filter by removing it and rinsing it in warm water. Finally, check that the hoses and fittings are airtight; if the pump is sucking air, turn the machine off and purge the pump by squeezing the trigger gun until a steady flow of water emerges through the nozzle.

Why is the detergent not working in my CERTIFIED Pressure Washer?
    • A
      Alex JohnsonAug 26, 2025
If the detergent is not working in your CERTIFIED Pressure Washer, first, ensure the detergent container is filled. Check that the detergent bottle or suction tube is properly connected. If the detergent is too thick, dilute it. Clean the filter on the detergent suction tube by running warm water through it to remove any build-up. If the detergent suction tube is damaged or clogged, remove the obstruction or replace the tube. Also, make sure the discharge nozzle is not obstructed; if it is, blow out or remove the debris with a fine needle.

      Heather TaylorAug 28, 2025
If your CERTIFIED Pressure Washer pump is noisy, ensure that the hoses and fittings are airtight. If the pump is sucking air, turn off the machine and purge the pump by squeezing the trigger gun until a steady flow of water emerges through the nozzle. Additionally, remove the water filter and rinse it in warm water to clear any clogs.

What to do if CERTIFIED VE17 Pressure Washer motor buzzes but won't run?
    • P
      patriciasmallAug 30, 2025
If your CERTIFIED Pressure Washer motor buzzes but fails to run, ensure that only the pressure washer is running on the circuit to provide adequate supply voltage. If the system has residual pressure, turn the unit OFF, squeeze the trigger on the spray wand to release the pressure, and then turn the unit ON. If you are using an extension cord, unplug it and plug the unit directly into the outlet to avoid voltage loss. If the pressure washer hasn't been used for a long period, call the toll-free hotline. If there is residual friction among components, disconnect the water supply and power ON for 2 to 3 seconds, repeating this procedure a few times until the motor starts.

      Mrs. Crystal NelsonSep 9, 2025
If you notice water leaking from the pump of your CERTIFIED Pressure Washer (up to 10 drops per minute is permissible), ensure that all fittings are tight. If the leaking continues, it may indicate that the water seals are damaged or worn, in which case you should call the toll-free hotline.

If your spray wand, extension, or nozzle is leaking on your CERTIFIED Pressure Washer, make sure the quick-connect wand is attached securely and that the desired nozzle is in place. If the issue persists, it could be due to a broken O-ring or plastic insert, and you should call the toll-free hotline.
