M. TCAS II / ACAS II Resolution Advisory Discrete and Flight Status:
(1) Set the ATC-601 Ramp Test Unit to Aircraft Operation Status.
(2) Make sure that the Subtype states proper Airborne/Ground Status (Note: Airborne due to
Weight on Wheels logic).
(3) Make sure that TCAS RA states: YES.
(4) Record the received values in Table 2.

NOTE: * Multiple possible values exist for the resolution advisory eld on the ATC-601, depending
on the test aircraft altitude and the intruder altitude. Conrm that the eld changes from all
zeros as the test aircraft gives an audible resolution advisory.
12. Do a functional check of the TCAS II system.
A. Start the TCASDIAG program.
B. Set the conguration module as follows:
(1) From the main menu screen select “Cong Mod” from the top menu. Select “Initialize Cong
Module” and choose “Yes” to continue initialization of the module. Congure each option per
the TCAS II conguration procedure. Press “OK” after conguring all options. Press “OK”
