WARNING
Installation, rst ignition and maintenance work must be performed
by qualied personnel only, in accordance with the instructions
provided.
Incorrect installation may harm individuals, animals or property; the
manufacturer will not be held responsible for any damage caused
as a result.
Initial operating procedures
If the boiler is installed inside the apartment, make sure that all
provisions relating to the air inlet and room ventilation (in compliance
with current legislation) are respected.
Check the water pressure on the display regularly and make sure that
the gure is between 0.6 and1.5 bar when the system is cold. If the
pressure is just under the minimum value the display will request a
lling procedure.
Re-establish the correct pressure by lling loop.
If the pressure drops very frequently, there may be a water leak at
some point in the system. If this is the case a plumber should be
contacted.
Ignition procedure
Press the ON/OFF button and the display will light up. The boiler
requires the language setting "English? Yes= OK-NO=+". Rotate the
encoder to select language an press Menu/OK.:

The second and third gures indicate:

the ow temperature when no heating requests have been made
- the ow temperature in central heating mode

the temperature of the hot water in domestic hot water mode
- the ow temperature in anti-freeze mode.
Operating mode selection
Use the MODE button 4 to select the desired operating mode :
The ignition of the burner is indicated on the display by the symbol
. The dashes underneath indicate the power output.
Adjusting the heating
Use the MODE button to select the heating and hot water operating
mode. It is possible to set the temperature of the heating water by
adjusting the knob 3. By placing the indicator somewhere between
min. and max. a temperature may be obtained which varies from
about 20°C to about 45°C (low temperature) and about 35°C to
about 82°C (high temperature).
The threshold value ashes on the display during setting and then
stays lit on vertical level indicator .
Domestic hot water adjustment
This is always on when the appliance is on. The temperature of the
domestic hot water can be adjusted between 40 and 65°C using
rotary button 8. The threshold value ashes on the display during

The boiler is designed to heat the domestic hot water tank in the
most energy-ecient way possible.
COMFORT function
The appliance guarantees the availability of domestic hot water by
storing hot water in the tank.
There are several types of programme available which can be ac-
cessed using button 5
COMFORT:
The water in the domestic hot water tank is kept hot 24 hours a day,
7 days a week.
COMFORT + :
Depending on requirements, the boiler allows periods to be pro-
grammed in which the water in the domestic hot water tank is kept
hot (see menu 1). These periods can be viewed on the control panel.
This programme is active 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To modify it,
see the section entitled Modifying the preset programme.
