How to fix low flame on my Char-Broil 463239915?
    • K
      Kelly DuffyJul 28, 2025
A sudden drop in gas flow or low flame in your Char-Broil Grill could be due to several reasons. First, check if you are out of gas and refill the LP cylinder if needed. Another cause might be a tripped excess flow valve. To fix this, turn off the knobs, wait 30 seconds, and then light the grill. If the flames are still low, turn off the knobs and the LP cylinder valve, disconnect the regulator, reconnect it, perform a leak test, turn on the LP cylinder valve, wait 30 seconds, and then light the grill. Lastly, a vapor lock at the coupling nut/LP cylinder connection could be the issue. Try turning off the knobs and the LP cylinder valve, disconnecting the coupling nut from the cylinder, reconnecting it, and then trying again.

      Benjamin HuangAug 1, 2025
If the flames on your Char-Broil Grill keep blowing out, it could be due to high or gusting winds; try turning the front of the grill to face the wind or increase the flame height by adjusting the gas valve. Another reason might be low LP gas, so refilling the LP cylinder could solve the problem. Also, the excess flow valve might have tripped. In this case, refer to the troubleshooting steps for a sudden drop in gas flow.

Why does my Char-Broil Grill keep flaring up?
    • R
      Robert BakerAug 10, 2025
Flare-ups on your Char-Broil Grill can happen for a few reasons. It could be due to grease buildup, so cleaning the burners and the inside of the grill is a good start. Also, excessive fat in the meat can cause flare-ups, so trim the fat before grilling. Finally, check your cooking temperature, as it might be too high. Adjust the temperature to a lower setting if needed.

How to stop a grease fire on my Char-Broil 463239915 Grill?
    • M
      Megan GonzalezAug 14, 2025
A persistent grease fire in your Char-Broil Grill is likely caused by grease trapped by food buildup around the burner system. To resolve this, turn the knobs to the OFF position and turn off the gas at the LP cylinder. Leave the lid in position and let the fire burn out. After the grill cools, remove and clean all parts.

Why are the sparks weak on my Char-Broil 463239915?
    • M
      Michelle FisherAug 18, 2025
If you see sparks, but they aren't at all electrodes or at full strength on your Char-Broil Grill, start by checking the output lead connections; remove and reconnect all output connections at the module and electrodes. Also, look for arcing to the grill away from the burners by observing the grill in a dark location while operating the ignition system. A weak battery can also cause this, so replace it with a new alkaline battery. If the electrodes are wet, use a paper towel to remove the moisture. Lastly, inspect the electrodes for cracks or breaks, and replace them if necessary.
