Why is gas flow suddenly low on my Char-Broil 463250511?
    • J
      James GillAug 17, 2025
A sudden drop in gas flow or low flame on your Char-Broil Grill could be due to several reasons. First, check if your LP cylinder is out of gas. If not, the excess flow valve might have tripped; turn off the knobs, wait 30 seconds, and then light the grill. If the flames are still low, turn off the knobs and the LP cylinder valve, disconnect the regulator, reconnect it, perform a leak test, turn on the LP cylinder valve, wait 30 seconds, and then light the grill. Lastly, a vapor lock at the coupling nut/LP cylinder connection could be the cause; turn off the knobs and LP cylinder valve, disconnect the coupling nut from the cylinder, reconnect it, and try again.

What to do if flames blow out on Char-Broil Grill?
    • T
      Travis HughesAug 20, 2025
If the flames on your Char-Broil Grill blow out, it could be due to high or gusting winds. Turn the front of the grill to face the wind or increase the flame height. Another reason might be low LP gas, so refill the LP cylinder. It's also possible the excess flow valve tripped; in this case, refer to the "Sudden drop in gas flow" solution.

Why no sparks when pressing Electronic Ignition Button on Char-Broil 463250511 Grill?
    • C
      Cynthia RileyAug 23, 2025
If no sparks appear at any electrodes and no noise is heard from the spark module on your Char-Broil Grill, first check the battery orientation. If that's not the issue, replace the battery with a new alkaline battery. Also, ensure the button assembly is installed properly by unscrewing the button cap assembly and reinstalling it, making sure the threads are aligned and engaged fully. Finally, the spark module may be faulty, so consider replacing the spark module assembly.

Why are sparks weak on my Char-Broil 463250511?
    • A
      andrew17Aug 26, 2025
If sparks are present but not at all electrodes or not at full strength on your Char-Broil Grill, start by removing and reconnecting all output connections at the module and electrodes. If possible, observe the grill in a dark location to check for arcing between output wires and the grill frame. A weak battery could also be the cause, so replace it with a new alkaline battery. Ensure electrodes are dry by using a paper towel to remove moisture. Finally, check for cracked or broken electrodes and replace them if necessary.

Why won't one burner light from the others on my Char-Broil 463250511?
    • P
      Parker MyersAug 28, 2025
If one burner doesn't light from the other burners on your Char-Broil Grill, it could be due to grease buildup or food particles in the end(s) of the carryover tube(s). Clean the carry-over tube(s) with a wire brush to resolve this issue.

How to stop flare ups on Char-Broil 463250511?
    • J
      Judy WadeAug 31, 2025
Flare-ups on your Char-Broil Grill can occur due to grease buildup. To resolve this, clean the burners and the inside of the grill/firebox. Another cause might be excessive fat in the meat, so trim the fat before grilling. Also, excessive cooking temperature can cause flare-ups, so adjust the temperature accordingly by lowering it.

    • M
      Michael Payne MDSep 3, 2025

How to stop persistent grease fire in Char-Broil Grill?
    • R
      Ronald JenningsSep 5, 2025
If you have a persistent grease fire in your Char-Broil Grill, turn the knobs to the OFF position and turn off the gas at the LP cylinder. Leave the lid in position and let the fire burn out. After the grill cools, remove and clean all parts.

Why can't I fill my Char-Broil Grill LP cylinder?
    • V
      victoriapierceSep 8, 2025
If you are unable to fill your LP cylinder for your Char-Broil Grill, it might be because some dealers have older fill nozzles with worn threads. These worn nozzles may not have enough “bite” to engage the valve. Try a second LP dealer.

What to do if Char-Broil 463250511 Grill timer doesn't work?
    • V
      Vanessa GonzalezSep 12, 2025
If the timer on your Char-Broil Grill does not work and the green light does not flash, it could be due to a dead battery, so replace the batteries. Another possibility is that the batteries are installed incorrectly, so install them correctly. Also, make sure that the knob position started the Clean Cycle by pushing the knob in to start the clean cycle. The green LED should begin to flash.
