      If you experience a sudden drop in gas flow or low flame on your Char-Broil grill, first check if your LP cylinder is out of gas. If not, the excess flow valve may have tripped. Check for gas in LP cylinder. If vapor lock is at coupling nut/LP cylinder connection, turn off knobs and LP cylinder valve. Disconnect coupling nut from cylinder. Reconnect and retry.

      If the flames on your Char-Broil grill blow out, it could be due to high or gusting winds, or low LP gas. Turn the front of the grill to face the wind or increase the flame height. Also, consider refilling the LP cylinder.

Leave the lid in position and let the fire burn out. After the grill cools, remove and clean all parts, as grease may be trapped by food buildup around the burner system.

      If sparks are present but not at all electrodes and/or not at full strength, remove and reconnect all output connections at module and electrodes. If sparks are observed other than from burner(s), wire insulation may be damaged and you should replace wires. Replace battery with a new alkaline battery. Use a paper towel to remove moisture. Replace cracked or broken electrodes.
