CALIBRATION PROCEDURE
1) Keep pressing ON/ZERO/OFF and press UNIT/WEIGHT 3
times simultaneously.
2) LCD display shows zero count value between 2000 to10000.
3) Press TARE, display shows “0”.
4) Press UNIT/WEIGHT to select calibration weight unit (kg/lb)
5) Load 200 kg or 500 lb.
6) Display will show span count value (kg: 8000 ~ 20000 / lb : 9100
~ 22650).
7) Press TARE, display will show “CAL”, and then show 200.0kg /
500.0 lb.
8) Remove the weight, and the calibration procedure is finished.
Recommended separation distance between
Portable and mobile RF communications equipment and the MS-3400-1
The MS-3400-1 is intended for use in the electromagnetic environment in which
radiated RF disturbances are controlled. The customer or the user of the
MS-3400-1 can help prevent electromagnetic interference by maintaining a
minimum distance between portable and mobile RF communications equipment
(transmitters) and the MS-3400-1 as recommended below, according to the
maximum output power of the communications equipment.

For transmitters rated at a maximum output power not listed above, the
recommended separation distance d in metres (m) can be estimated using the
equation applicable to the frequency of the transmitter, where p is the maximum
output power rating of the transmitter in watts (W) according to the transmitter
manufacturer.
NOTE1 At 80 MHz and 800 MHz, the separation distance for the higher
frequency range applies.
NOTE2 These guidelines may not apply in all situations. Electromagnetic
propagation is affected by absorption and reflection from structures, objects and
people.
