The thermometer should be stored at room temperature in a dry place, away from heat sources
and direct sunlight. Strong electromagnetic fields might affect its correct operation. Keep out of
reach of children. Never leave a child unattended while taking its temperature.
In case of a rise in temperature, consult a physician. Conforming to directive 93/42 EEC.
2 years warranty
Artsana’s Thermo-Precision thermometer is guaranteed to be free of defects due to the use of
faulty materials or manufacturing faults for a period of two years from the date of purchase. This
warranty applies only if the device is used at normal domestic conditions in conformity to the
instruction manual.
In no case Artsana is liable for particular, direct, indirect or consequent damage deriving from or
related to the purchase or use of this product, or for higher costs than the original price of the
product.
The warranty does not cover any damage due to the battery or accidental damage caused by or
resulting from improper use of the device. Further warranties may vary from state to state.
ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY
This device is manufactured in conformity to the regulations in force and complies with all pro-
tection requirements in terms of electromagnetic compatibility; nevertheless, special precautions
should be taken concerning EMC and the device should be installed and operated in conformity to
the EMC information contained in this document.
Portable and mobile radiocommunication devices may influence the operation of this electromed-
ical device. In case of electromagnetic disturbance, it is recommended to repeat the measurement
of body temperature, if the readings appear dubious.
