Welcome to the M Scaler Quickstart Guide. This shortened guide is supplementary to the main manual.
M Scaler comes with a comprehensive 3-year warranty. Register your device to activate.
Connect your source to any input of the device. Drivers needed for Windows devices.
Connect to DAVE, TT 2 or Qutest using dual BNC cables for dual-data mode.
Connect to third-party DACs via BNC/S/PDIF for maximum upsampling of 384kHz.
Connect the supplied DC 15V power supply. The M Scaler powers on automatically.
Press the INPUT button to select your source. Dual data mode activates with BNC 1.
Sample rates from 44.1 kHz to 768 kHz are indicated via the DX OP button.
Select the upsample rate using the OP SR (Output sample rate) button.
Activate 'Video Mode' (On or Automatic) to minimise lip-sync issues with video.
DX OP, DX down, DX up buttons are not currently active and reserved for future products.
