ATM-25 Network Module
The ATM-25 network module (see Figure 12-1) provides ATM traffic shaping for use with
asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) uplink speeds and protocol support for
permanent virtual circuit (PVC) environments. The network module provides full support
for multiprotocol encapsulation over ATM Adaptive Layer 5 (RFC 1483), classic IP over
ATM encapsulation (RFC 1577), and Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) over ATM.
