Safety Considerations
Keep these guidelines in mind when installing Cisco CMX:
• Verify that the ambient temperature remains between 10 and 35 (50 and 95), taking into account the
elevated temperatures that occur when they are installed in a rack.
• When multiple mobility services engines are mounted in an equipment rack, be sure that the power source
is sufficiently rated to safely run all of the equipment in the rack.
• Verify the integrity of the ground before installing mobility services engines in an equipment rack.
