This procedure describes how to install and connect the high-voltage (HV) DC power supply module to the
rear power supply power feeds on the chassis. The load is shared when both power supply modules are plugged
in and running at the same time. The HVDC power supply modules are hot swappable.

Statement 347Failure to Secure the Expansion Module
To reduce the risk of electric shock, secure the modules with the provided screws.

Before performing any of the following procedures, ensure that power is removed from the DC
circuit.

This product relies on the building’s installation for short-circuit (overcurrent) protection. To reduce
risk of electric shock or fire, ensure that the protective device is rated not greater than:
AC: 20A
DC: 40A

personnel can access a restricted access area.
