The Cisco Nexus 5020 switch supports both SFP+ Ethernet transceivers and SFP Fibre Channel
transceivers.

SFP+ Transceivers
The enhanced SFP+ 10-Gigabit Ethernet transceiver module is a bidirectional device with a transmitter
and receiver in the same physical package (see Table 1-8). It has a 20-pin connector on the electrical
interface and duplex LC connector on the optical interface.The Cisco Nexus 5020 switch supports the
SFP-10G-SR transceiver.
SFP+ Copper Cables
Copper cables are available for use with the 10-Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ module. The cables come in the
following lengths:
• 1 m, 30 AWG
• 3 m, 28–30 AWG
• 5 m, 26–28 AWG
