Why won't my Cissell L44CD42G motor start?

  The motor might not start due to several reasons. It could be due to no power; check the fuses on circuit breakers and ensure the main control switch is ON. Another reason might be incorrect power; verify that the voltage, phase, and frequency match the specifications on the electrical rating plate. Also, make sure the timer is set correctly by turning it clockwise to the desired time. Loose wiring connections in the electrical box on the rear of the dryer or a defective starting relay could also be culprits. Check the wire connections and the relay coils and contacts.

  If your dryer runs but doesn't produce heat, several factors could be responsible. Begin by checking for the correct control voltage (24V). Then inspect the power supply and the secondary voltage on the transformer, along with the wiring and wiring diagram. Ensure the lint door is closed. Other potential issues include a defective gas valve, gas turned off, a blown fuse, or a defective door switch. Also, check the spark igniter, air switch, and gas pressure. If the air switch is not operating, clean out the lint compartment daily and check the back draft damper and duct work for obstructions. If the vacuum within the dryer drops, this can affect the dryer's operation. If none of these resolves the issue, consider a defective relay, thermostat, or safety overload thermostat.
