Why do blades break on my Clarke Saw?
    • C
      Charles LawrenceJul 31, 2025
Blades on your Clarke Saw can break due to several reasons: faulty alignment (tracking) which requires tracking adjustments, incorrectly adjusted blade guides that need readjustment, feeding the work too fast, so lower the feed rate, or forcing/twisting the blade around a tight radius. For tight curves, make relief cuts, fairly close together, at 90º to the curve. Other causes include a blade that is too tight (relieve blade tension), dull teeth or a badly welded/brazed blade (renew the blade), fitting the wrong blade (use only quality blades supplied by Clarke Int’l), or leaving the blade running when not in use (always switch the machine OFF when not in use).

How to fix a Clarke Saw blade that runs off the cutting line?
    • J
      Joshua HatfieldAug 8, 2025
If the blade of your Clarke Saw runs off the cutting line, possible causes include incorrectly adjusted blade guides (readjust them), maladjusted blade tracking (carry out tracking adjustment), blade tension that is too loose (re-tension the blade), or fitting the wrong, too thin blade (fit the correct blade).

What to do if the motor of my Clarke Saw does not run?
    • C
      Carolyn WheelerAug 16, 2025
If the motor of your Clarke Saw isn't running, the fuse may have blown; try renewing the fuse. If the problem continues, it could be a defective plug or power cable, which would need to be repaired or replaced. If neither of those solutions work, the motor itself may be defective, and you should consult your Clarke dealer.

What to do if my Clarke Saw machine vibrates?

      mistycabreraAug 23, 2025
If your Clarke Saw machine is vibrating, check the following: 1. Tighten any loose mountings. 2. Secure the table. 3. Secure the motor mountings. 4. Ensure the workbench or platform is strong enough to fully support the machine.
