What to do if Clarke Air Compressor runs continuously but can’t attain the working pressure required?
    • B
      Bianca WhiteAug 25, 2025
If your Clarke Air Compressor runs continuously but doesn't reach the required working pressure, several factors could be responsible. The suction filter might be blocked, so try changing it. For machines that are not direct drive, the V-belt might be too slack and need tightening. There could also be a leak between the compressor block and air receiver, or leaks in or near the air receiver; tighten the connection and repair any leaks. Ensure unobstructed airflow around the unit.

Why is my Clarke XE Air Compressor becoming too hot?
    • B
      Brenda ObrienAug 31, 2025
If your Clarke Air Compressor is overheating, it could be due to insufficient ventilation. Ensure adequate airflow to the flywheel or fan and proper venting of hot air. Other causes include a low oil level (check and fill as needed), dirt on cooling fins or the suction filter (clean them), or a partly blocked non-return valve (clean or thaw it out). If the compressor is being overworked, consider using a larger unit.
