SLEEP – gradual cooling
Note: The sleep feature can only be activated with the air conditioner on and only if
the AUTO or COOL function is selected.
1. Press [ SLEEP ]. The set temperature will be reduced by 1 ºC within the first
30 minutes.
2. After another 30 min the temperature will be reduced by a further 1 ºC.
3. Thereafter the air conditioner will continue to reduce the temperature for
the next 7 hours and then return to the original set temperature.
Timer setting examples using the remote
Setting the air conditioner to start in 6 hours
1. Connect the mains lead to a wall socket and make sure the red indicator
below [ ] is lit.
2. Press [ TIMER ON ]. The remote will display “TIMER ON” and the most current
TIMER ON setting along with the ”h” (hour) symbol will show.
3. Press [ TIMER ON ] the required number of times until “6.0h” shows on the remote.
This information will then be sent to the air conditioner.
4. After a few seconds the remote will revert back to showing the current temperature.
5. The start function is now activated and the air conditioner is now programmed to
start in 6 hours.
Setting the air conditioner to stop in 10 hours
1. Connect the mains lead to a wall socket and make sure the red indicator
below [ ] is lit.
2. Press [ TIMER OFF ]. The remote will display “TIMER OFF” and the most current
TIMER OFF setting along with the “h” (hour) symbol will show.
3. Press [ TIMER OFF ] the required number of times until “10h” shows on the remote.
This information will then be sent to the air conditioner.
4. After a few seconds the remote will revert back to showing the current temperature.
5. The stop function is now activated and the air conditioner is now programmed to
stop in 10 hours.
Settting the air conditioner to stop in 2 hours and restart after 10 hours
1. Connect the mains lead to a wall socket and make sure the red indicator
below [ ] is lit.
2. Press [ TIMER OFF ].
3. Press [ TIMER OFF ] the required number of times until “2.0h” shows on the remote.
4. Press [ TIMER ON ].
5. Press [ TIMER ON ] the required number of times until “10h” shows on the remote.
6. The air conditioner is now programmed to stop in 2 hours and restart in 10 hours.
