Settting the air conditioner to start in 2 hours and stop after 5 hours
1. Connect the mains lead to a wall socket and make sure the red indicator
below [ ] is lit.
2. Press [ TIMER ON ]. The remote will display “TIMER ON” and the most current
TIMER ON setting along with the “h” (hour) symbol will show.
3. Press [ TIMER ON ] the required number of times until “2.0h” shows on the remote.
4. Press [ TIMER OFF ].
5. Press [ TIMER OFF ] the required number of times until “5.0h” shows on the remote.
6. The air conditioner is now programmed to start in 2 hours and stop after 5 hours.
Care and maintenance
• Turn the air conditioner completely off and pull out the plug before cleaning
or servicing it.
• Clean the air conditioner using a lightly moistened cloth. Only use mild cleaning
agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals. Never spray the air conditioner
with water.
• You can turn the air conditioner on again directly after it has been turned off,
but it takes 3 min for the compressor to restart and the cooling or dehumidifier
functions to begin working again. Only the fan will restart directly.
Cleaning the filter
The air filter should be cleaned every 14 days. Both
upper (10) and lower (13) filters need to be cleaned.
1. Open the upper and lower filter compartments and remove
the filters.
2. Remove the filters from their frames and wash them in a mild
soapy solution.
3. Rinse the filters in clean water and let them dry. Do not place
the filters in direct sunlight for drying. If dried outdoors, select
a shady area.
4. Refit the filters back onto their frames.
If the air conditioner is not to be used for a long time
1. Remove the upper drain plug and connect a ¾” hose to drain off any water before
turning on the fan (point 3).
2. Move the air conditioner to an appropriate area for draining and unscrew the lower
drain cover (15). Make sure that all water is discharged.
3. Turn on the (FAN-function) in order to dry the air conditioner’s internal parts and
to prevent possible mould growth. Let the fan run for about 6 hours.
4. Turn off the air conditioner and unplug it from the wall socket.
5. Remove the remote’s batteries.
6. Clean the air filters and refit them.
7. Remove the hose from the upper drain outlet.
