8. Care and Maintenance
8.1 Cleaning
- Clean dusty records with a record brush.
- Always fold down the cover when the record player is not in use. This is to prevent dust from collecting on
the turntable and pickup needle.
- The record player can be cleaned with a lightly moistened cloth.
8.2 Changing the pickup needle
1. Hold the pickup needle with one hand and
push down a ne screwdriver on the front
edge between the pickup and the needle.
Carefully tilt the screwdriver backwards
according to the gure which removes the
needle.
. Attach a new needle by attaching it to the rear
edge rst. Thereafter attach it to the front edge.
8.3 Aligning the tonearm stopping position
First remove the rubber cover from the alignment screw (8).
The tonearm returns to the tonearm rest before the entire record has been played:
Using a cross headed screwdriver; turn the alignment screw (8) clockwise to adjust the tonearm stop
position closer to the centre of the record.
The tonearm does not return to the tonearm rest after the record has nished playing:
Using a cross headed screwdriver; turn the alignment screw (8) anticlockwise to adjust the tonearm stop
position further away from the centre of the record.
Remark:
The stop position may need to be adjusted to suit your record selection. The factory-set stop position is
based on the most common template.
