Safety instructions
WARNING: Read all safety instructions, information, im-
ages and technical data provided with this device. Failure
to observe the safety instructions and information can cause
electric shock, fi re and/or injuries.
■ This device may be used by children from 8 years of age, or by
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and/or knowledge, if they have been su-
pervised or instructed regarding the safe use of the device and
have understood the dangers that could arise.
■ Children are not allowed to play with the device.
■ Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by
children unless they are over 8 years old and supervised.
■ Children younger than 8 years old and animals must be kept
away from the device and the connection cable.
■ The device must always be disconnected from the mains before
assembly, disassembly or cleaning.
■ Never immerse the device and the connecting cable in water or
other liquids, and ensure that they do not fall into the water or
become wet.
■ Do not make any modifi cations to the device. Also do not replace
the connecting cable yourself. If the device, the connecting ca-
ble or the accessories of the device are damaged, they must be
replaced by the manufacturer, customer service department or a
specialist workshop in order to avoid any hazards.
DANGER – shock hazard
■ Only charge and store in closed areas.
■ Do not use in areas with high humidity.
■ Should the device fall into the water while it is connected to the mains, immediately
disconnect the power supply. Do not try to pull the device out of the water while it is
connected to the mains!
■ Never touch the device or connection cable with wet hands if these components are
connected to the mains.
■ Never vacuum liquids. Do not fi ll the dust collector with liquid.
