Tool Components Tightening Techniques
for
5 Series Right Angle Nutrunners
2, 7, 10, 17 & 25 Gear Trains
1. Clamp angle head in vise using bushing. Tighten all other components before posi-
tioning angle head relative to throttle lever.
2. Place 203804 wrench in adjustment slot of clutch housing. Tighten clutch housing
and angle head to 10ft-lbs (13.5 Nm).
3. Hold clutch housing with 203804 wrench, Use 203803 wrench to tighten gear case
and clutch housing to 10ft-lbs (13.5 Nm).
4. Hold backhead flats in vise. Tighten gear case and backhead, using 203803
wrench to 20ft-lbs (27Nm).
5. All components must be tight. Angle head must be loosened and shimmed for align-
ment.
Vise Jaws
Use wrench to tighten
gear case to clutch
housing 10 ft. lbs. (13.5Nm)
Bushing
Use adjustable wrench to tighten
gear case and backhead while
holding backhead in vise or holding
fixture using flats on side of backhead.
Tighten to 20 ft.-lbs. (27Nm)
Vise Jaws
Place clutch housing wrench in
adjustment slot of clutch
housing and tighten angle
head to 10 ft. lbs. (13.5Nm)
