RIGHT ANGLE HEAD REASSEMBLY
On the "C" and "F" head, slide needle bearing on pinion and
press needle bearing into housing to a depth of 1.050"
(26.6mm) from the shoulder of housing the ball bearing sets
on (See drawing below). After the right angle head is
assembled, it is important that it be tightened securely to
either the clutch housing or right angle head adapter to
insure proper right angle gear makeup after assembly.

TRIP ROD SIZING
Tighten the clutch housing until the motor starts, continue
tightening 3/4 to 1 complete turn then measure the gap
between the bottom of clutch housing and shoulder of gear
case. Remove this amount from the trip rod.
IMPORTANT: During reassembly of the complete tool, the
gear case to handle should be tightened to 20 ft. lbs. (27Nm)
and all other joints should be tightened to a minimum of 10
ft. lbs. (13.6 Nm). Wrenches shown below can be ordered to
tighten the gear case and clutch housing.
SAFETY CHECK
After repair of replacement of parts, tools should be tested
to verify that they are functioning properly.
