  If your Cleco Power Tool shuts off prematurely, ensure that the operator keeps the start switch pressed throughout the entire sequence. Alternatively, the fastening time may exceed the standard time of 10 seconds, so increase the fastening time. Also, check the fastening sequence to ensure that the torque shutoff value and/or angle setpoint are correct and adjust as necessary. It's also important to check whether the fastening joint has changed significantly.

  The 'Tool Offline!' warning in the RUN SCREEN of your Cleco Power Tool indicates that the tool has not been accepted in the Tool Settings. Check the Tool List menu to make sure that the tool has been accepted. If it has not been accepted, accept it. The correct line must be marked before the setting can be accepted in the Tool Settings menu.

  A different torque display in the controller and external transducer of your Cleco Power Tool can be caused by the torque calibration factor (Torque Cal.) in Tool Settings needing adjustment. Adjust Torque Cal. (Tool Settings) using the following formula: New calibration value = (external value / tool value) x calibration value used. Another cause can be a customer's special attachment that was added to the tool, so the tool memory must be updated by reprogramming it.

  If your Cleco Power Tool does not start, it could be due to several reasons. First, ensure that a speed (RPM) is programmed for all active stages. If the controller is waiting for tool enablement, activate the input Tool Enable or deactivate it if it is not required. For standalone operation, enable FastApps mode. If the self-identification data is not recognized after a tool change, accept the Tool Settings again in Tool Setup.

The distance between the access point and the tool may be too great; check the signal strength on the tool's WLAN icon and reduce the distance if necessary. Also, verify that the tool (IP address) is not assigned to another controller and, if it is, delete the assignment in the other controller. Excessive data traffic on the WLAN network can also cause interruptions; reduce data traffic by increasing the Trigger Torque on the controller screen Basic and disabling torque graph data transmission under Advanced > Controller > General > Trace Recording.
