20. Transport, marking and storage of units
1 Transport of equipment containing flammable
refrigerants
– Follow applicable regulations related to
transporting these materials
2 Markings and signage on equipment
– Observe the regulations in force
3 Disposing of equipment containing flammable
refrigerants
– Comply with national regulations
4 Equipment storage
– The equipment must be stored in accordance to
the manufacturer's instructions.
5 Storage of packaged equipment (not sold)
– The packaging material to be stored must be protected
so that any mechanical damage to the equipment
contained in it cannot cause refrigerant leakage.
The maximum number of appliances that can be
stored in the same location is determined by local
regulations.
