Before you start…
Proper use of the product
The device is at the current level of science and tech-
nology and meets all valid safety requirements in
place at the time of introduction, assuming proper
use.
The device creates electrical power to be fed into a
mobile distribution system within the framework of a
network replacement operation.
The device may only be used outdoors within the
specified limitations for voltage, output and nominal
rotation speed (see type plate).
The device may not be connected to other energy
distribution (e.g. the public mains supply system)
and energy generation systems (e.g. other power
generators).
The unit may not be used in areas prone to explo-
sion.
The unit may not be used in areas prone to fire.
This device is only designated for private use.
The device must be operated according to the guide-
lines in the operating instructions.
The device is not suitable for the operation of elec-
tronic devices or switching systems (consumer elec-
tronics, heating controls, computers, etc.).
Any unintended use or any activities on the device
not described in these operating instructions are
considered an unauthorised misuse outside the
manufacturer's legal liability limits.
What are the meanings of the symbols used?
In the operating instructions
Notes indicating danger and other notes are clearly
identified in the instructions. The following symbols
are used:

On the unit itself
Symbols affixed to your device may not be removed
or covered.
Information on the unit that is no longer legible must
be replaced immediately.
DANGER! Type and source of danger!
Ignoring a danger sign is a danger to life
and limb.
WARNING! Type and source of danger!
Ignoring a danger sign may cause a dan-
ger to life and limb.
CAUTION! Type and source of danger!
This danger sign warns of damage to the
device, the environment or damage to
property.
Note: This symbol indicates information
that will help you to better understand the
processes at hand.
Before putting the unit into opera-
tion, read the instructions for use.

Observe all the safety instructions
provided in the operating manual.
