How to start a CMi C-G-2800 C Portable Generator when the motor doesn't start?

If your CMi Portable Generator's motor isn't starting, there are several potential causes. First, ensure the fuel tank isn't empty. Check that the ignition switch is set to the 'ON' position. Verify the spark plug connector is firmly attached and clean. If there's excess fuel in the combustion chamber, shift the cold start lever to the right and repeatedly attempt to start the motor. Also, inspect the spark plug for dirt or defects, cleaning or replacing it as necessary. Confirm you're using the correct fuel mixture. If the electrode spacing of the spark plug is too big, set the correct electrode distance.
