Setting up the blade guides
The blade guides minimise blade movement during sawing.
1. After theblade has been centred on theblade pulley
wheels, make sure that theteeth of theblade do not
line up with theguide pins (18), if they do theentire
guide pin post and support bearings can be moved
back so that theteeth of theblade do not foul
theguide pins.
2. The guide bearings should be 0.2 mm from theside of
theblade.
3. Rotate thewheel by hand and make sure that thejoint of theblade passes through theguides.
4. Position therear support bearing (19) as close to theback of thesaw blade as possible without it coming
into contact.
