Care and maintenance
Note: Turn thedehumidifier off and pull out theplug before cleaning or servicing it.
• Clean theexterior of thedehumidifier using alightly moistened cloth. Only use mild cleaning
agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Vacuum clean theair inlet and outlet grilles of thedehumidifier.
• Remove thewater reservoir (see theEmptying thewater reservoir section above) every 14th
day and wash it by hand using amild detergent. Rinse it with clean water.
Note: Do not wash thewater reservoir in adishwasher.
• Clean theair filter every 14th day, see theAir filter section above.
• If thedehumidifier is not to be used for anextended period:
- Switch thedehumidifier off, unplug it, wind up themains lead and hang it on thelead holder.
- Clean thehousing of thedehumidifier.
- Wait 24 hours before emptying thewater reservoir to ensure that all thewater in
thedehumidifier has had time to collect in it.
- Remove thewater reservoir, empty it, dry it and then refit it.
- Remove theair filter, clean and refit it.
- Store thedehumidifier in adry, well-ventilated place.
