Thismeterfeaturesaninternalmemorycapableofstoring60,000datapoints.Duetothenatureoftheirdesign,
thesemeterswillneedtobeinitializedbeforeoperationanditsloggingperiodandreal‐timeclockwillneedtobe
setunderthe“Settings”menu.
OncetheGasLab
®
softwarehasbeeninstalledandthemeterisconnectedtothecomputer,youcangatherdataina
varietyofways.Datacanbecollectedinrealtime,datalogscanbedownloadedfromthemeter’smemoryand
savedtothecomputer,anddatacanbereviewedonthemeter’sLCDdisplay.
Foreachloggingsession:
1. TurnthemeterON.
2. Themetermustbestartedatleast1minutepriortodeploymentanddataloggingtoallowtheCO2sensor
timetowarm‐upandcalibrate.
3. Startloggingbypressingthe“Log”buttonontherightsideofthemeter.
4. Whendataloggingiscompleted,turnthe“Log”OFF.

DataLogging
Thesemodelsfeatureaninternalmemorycapableofstoringdatawhennotconnectedtoacomputer.Thisallows
youtosimultaneouslyreadandstoreCO2concentrationleveldata.Youcandownloadthedatalogsbyconnecting
thedataloggertoGasLab®.
•DataloggingisonlyavailablewhenthemeteristurnedON.
•Startdataloggingbypressingtheswitchontherighthandsideofthedevice.Whentheswitchisdepressedto
theONposition,itwillactivatethepumpandstartdatalogging.Thisbuttonistheonlywaytoturnonthepump
anddatalogging.
•WhenthesameswitchispressedagainandraisedtotheOFFposition,thepumpanddataloggingwillstop.
AllCMDataLoggersarepreconfiguredtosampletheairfromtheinlettubeportonceeveryfiveseconds.Ifthis
doesnotworkforyourapplication,contactaCO2Metertechnicianforinstructionsonhowtomodifythesampling
rate.
