What causes high speaker failure rate in Code 3 Z3?
    • N
      Nicholas WrightSep 8, 2025
If you are experiencing a high rate of speaker failure with your Code 3 Security Sensors, it could be due to high voltage to the siren. Check the vehicle charging system. Also, ensure you are using the correct speaker, as a 58-watt speaker should not be connected to a 100-watt tap.

Why won't my Code 3 Security Sensors Interclear power auxiliary devices?
    • B
      Brandon DiazSep 12, 2025
If your Code 3 Security Sensors Interclear system will not power auxiliary devices, there may be a short in the wiring, or the load is greater than 1 amp. Check for shorts and consider installing an Interclear booster kit.

Why is the red light blinking in park on my Code 3 Security Sensors?
    • S
      sarahfordSep 12, 2025
If the red level indicator on the control head of your Code 3 Security Sensors is blinking slowly when in Level 3 and the vehicle is in park, this is normal. It indicates that the Level 3A or Level 3B lights are in standby (turned off). Put the vehicle back into drive. Load Manager may have sensed low input and turned off 3A or 3B, so check the vehicle battery voltage.

Why does my Code 3 Z3 Security Sensors flash and beep continuously?
    • D
      Donald StarkSep 15, 2025
When your Code 3 Security Sensors are powered on and there is a 5-second pause followed by a flash and beep every 2 seconds continuously, it means the control head has failed to communicate with the amplifier. Check the connection of the CAT-5 cable from the control head to the amplifier. It could also indicate a configuration load failure, in which case you should reset the power. You can also reload the amplifier configuration.

Why does PA only function for 30 seconds on Code 3 Z3 Security Sensors?
    • R
      Ryan DukeSep 16, 2025
If the PA on your Code 3 Security Sensors only functions for 30 seconds before turning off, this is normal. The PA is designed to turn off after 30 seconds to prevent the possibility of a stuck microphone. Simply release the PTT button and press it again for another 30 seconds of broadcast ability.
