CLAMP PRESSURE ADJUSTER (PBJF #15089 & CXGD #5842 CARTRIDGES)
The clamp pressure is adjustable by using the remote clamp switch. Set pressure to
desired level. DO NOT set pressure below 1000 PSI or exceed 2000 PSI. Use shut off
valve located below pressure gauge to turn on gauge when setting. Shut off after
opening clamp and pressure drops to zero. Not shutting off gauge may cause gauge
to fail.
SHAKE SEQUENCE VALVE not shown (RSHC #5862 CARTRIDGE)
The shake sequence valve controls the pressure at which the shaking starts and is
factory set. It is not recommended to re-adjust sequence. Cold oil may allow false
shake starts so it is recommended to warm machine for 10-15 minutes before
operating.
SHAKE BRAKE not shown (RDHA #12588 CARTRIDGE)
The shake brake valve controls the rate of deceleration of the shake head and comes
set from the factory. Shake brake may need to be re-adjusted after initial operation.
NEVER adjust shake brake where head stops to abruptly or damage may occur.
SHAKE LOCK (CKGB #5838 CARTRIDGE)
The shake lock opens when shaking. When shake button is released the lock closes to
start the shake brake feature. It is activated by pilot oil to open and closes when pilot
oil is released. Valve is non-adjustable.
MAIN VALVE / RELIEF (#13603)
The main valve operates the CLAMP and CARRIAGE in-out of the shaker. The main
relief comes set from the factory at 3,000 PSI and should not be adjusted.
CARTRIDGE VALVE BANKS
The cartridge valve banks perform many functions. They actuate pilot valves, brakes,
sweeper lifts and shift the wheel motors into high gear. Actuation is provided by electric
signal from the coil. Pressure is set remotely at the pumps relief valve.
SECONDARY VALVE (not shown)
The secondary valve actuates the LIFT & ROLL of the shaker head .The main relief
comes set at 2,200 PSI. The secondary valve also has a priority inlet cover that pro-
vides 4 gpm for the sweeper circuit and its relief is set at 1,500 psi. On AXIOM
equipped machines a third valve section is used for the lift system.
COE DECELERATOR VALVE (not shown)
The decelerator valve allows the head to quietly and quickly brake. The anti cavitation
design prevents the loud noise associated with the shake brake cycle and prolongs the
life of the motor.
