Pro Tip:
Save time by exchanging dirty parts with clean spares and
washing and drying the dirty parts later (in a dishwasher if
dishwasher-safe) then reusing them for the next cleaning.
Step 7: Cleaning the brewing system - VKI brewer equipped models
Disconnect the coffee outlet from the
brewer and the water outlets from the
outlet beam bracket, then remove it.
Lift the release latch on the front of the
brew chamber and slide it straight out to
remove it.
Remove the waste guides by lifting them
up about 1cm toward the brewer until
they clear the stud screws.
Pull the tube off of the water supply.
Inserting the lter ejector tool tip through the
middle outlet slot in the brew cylinder and align
it with the edge of the brew lter at the top-rear
edge of the cylinder, then push the lter out.
Use the brewer motor rotating tool
to rotate the brewer so that the piston
is at its lowest position in the cylinder,
one scraper drive arm is positioned
on each side of the housing, and the
brew chamber is at its highest opened
position.
