3 Troubleshooting
If the light is not strobing, verify the items listed below.
• Verify that all connections are secure.
• Verify the black and white wires on the Strobe Control Cable are securely fastened
within the green terminal plug, and that the plug is firmly inserted into the back of the
camera.
• Verify the Strobe Control Cable is connected to the correct outputs (pins 3 and 4) on
the In-Sight Camera.
• Verify the Cognex Light Module works by itself when connected directly to the
LIGHTS port on the In-Sight processor.
