Instructions for use
Note:
• Make sure that therubber plug in thedrain hose hole is securely in place before
turning thedehumidifier on if it is not to be used for continuous dehumidification.
• Thedehumidifier works best at normal room temperature, its efficiency is reduced
if theambient temperature falls to below 15 ºC.
• Let thedehumidifier operate continuously for 24 hours thefirst time it used.
See theContinuous operation section.
• If thedehumidifier is turned off and then turned back on again immediately,
it will take approximately 3 minutes to reach full power.
• Never use thedehumidifier without theair filter in place.
Switching thedehumidier on/o
1. Read all theinstructions in theSafety and Placement sections above.
2. Connect themains lead to awall socket with thespecifications listed in in part 1 of
theSafety section.
3. Switch thethermostat on by pressing [
].
4. Switch thethermostat off by pressing [
] again.
Automatic shut-o
When thewater reservoir is full thedehumidifier shuts off automatically and theLED
indicator (9) on thecontrol panel lights.
Emptying thewater reservoir
1. Unplug themains lead from
thewall socket.
2. Grip thewater reservoir on both
sides and pull it forwards.
3. Empty thecontainer and then
fit it back into thedehumidifier.
If thedehumidifier is switched
off automatically it takes afew
minutes for it to start again once
thewater reservoir has been
refitted.
