Troubleshooting guide
Thedehumidifier will
not switch on.
• Check that themains lead is properly plugged into
anelectrical socket.
• Is thewall socket live?
• Thewater reservoir is full or incorrectly fitted.
Thehumidity is not
reducing.
• Thedehumidifier has not been used long enough.
• Make sure that nothing is preventing theair in theroom
where thedehumidifier is used from circulating properly.
• Make sure that no outdoor air can enter theroom in
which thedehumidifier is being used.
• Theambient temperature is below 15 °C.
• Is there aheat source in theroom which is raising
thehumidity?
Unusual noises emitted
during use.
• Make sure that theair filters are clean.
• Thedehumidifier is tilted or standing on anuneven surface.
Thedehumidifier is
leaking.
• Make sure that thedrain hose is properly connected if
used in continuous operation mode.
• Make sure that therubber plug is covering thedrain
hose connection (8) if thedehumidifier is used in normal
mode i.e. not continuously.

• Theambient temperature is too low, i.e. below 5 °C (41 °F).
Or theair humidity sensor or temperature sensor is
defective. Unplug thedehumidifier from thewall socket,
wait for afew seconds and then plug it in again. If this
does not solve theproblem, contact Customer Services.
