Troubleshooting guide
Thedehumidifier will
not switch on.
• Check that themains lead is properly plugged into
anelectrical socket.
• Is thewall socket live?
• Thewater reservoir is full or incorrectly fitted.
Thehumidity is not
reducing.
• Thedehumidifier has not been used long enough.
• Make sure that nothing is preventing theair in theroom
where thedehumidifier is used from circulating properly.
• Make sure that no outdoor air can enter theroom in
which thedehumidifier is being used.
• Theambient temperature is below 15 °C.
• Is there aheat source in theroom which is raising
thehumidity?
Unusual noises emitted
during use.
• Make sure that theair filters are clean.
• Thedehumidifier is tilted or standing on anuneven surface.
Thedehumidifier is
leaking.
• Make sure that thedrain hose is properly connected if
used in continuous operation mode.
• Make sure that therubber plug is covering thedrain
hose connection (8) if thedehumidifier is used in normal
mode i.e. not continuously.

• Theambient temperature is too low, i.e. below 5 °C (41 °F).
Or theair humidity sensor or temperature sensor is
defective. Unplug thedehumidifier from thewall socket,
wait for afew seconds and then plug it in again. If this
does not solve theproblem, contact Customer Services.
