Automatic defrost feature
Thedehumidifier is equipped with anautomatic defrost feature. Frost can build up
on some components inside thedehumidifier under certain conditions. Thedefrost
feature removes this frost. No settings can or need to be made for this feature.
Air lter
Removal
1. Grip thewater reservoir on both sides
and pull it forwards. See above.
2. Grip thefilters (one on each side) and
pull them straight down.
Cleaning
1. Wash thefilter carefully in warm water, use amild detergent if necessary.
Note: Do not wash theair filter in adishwasher.
2. Rinse thefilter in clean water and let it dry before reinserting it.
Fitting
1. Refit theair filters by pushing them up into place.
2. Refit thewater reservoir.
Continuous operation
When thedehumidifier is used in anenvironment with high humidity, thewater reservoir
will need emptying often. In such circumstances, it could be more practical to run
thedehumidifier continuously.
1. Remove therubber plug covering thedrain hose connection (8).
2. Connect asuitable drain hose (sold separately) having abore of 15mm.
3. Make sure that thedrain hose is secure and tight to prevent leakage.
4. Theother end of thedrain hose should be inserted into adrain which is lower than
thedrain hose connection on thedehumidifier.
