Automatic defrost feature
Thedehumidifier is equipped with anautomatic defrost feature. Frost can build up
on some components inside thedehumidifier under certain conditions. Thedefrost
feature removes this frost. No settings can or need to be made for this feature.
Air lter
Removal
1. Grip thewater reservoir on both sides
and pull it forwards. See above.
2. Grip thefilters (one on each side) and
pull them straight down.
Cleaning
1. Wash thefilter carefully in warm water, use amild detergent if necessary.
Note: Do not wash theair filter in adishwasher.
2. Rinse thefilter in clean water and let it dry before reinserting it.
Fitting
1. Refit theair filters by pushing them up into place.
2. Refit thewater reservoir.
Continuous operation
When thedehumidifier is used in anenvironment with high humidity, thewater reservoir
will need emptying often. In such circumstances, it could be more practical to run
thedehumidifier continuously.
1. Remove therubber plug covering thedrain hose connection (8).
2. Connect asuitable drain hose (sold separately) having abore of 15mm.
3. Make sure that thedrain hose is secure and tight to prevent leakage.
4. Theother end of thedrain hose should be inserted into adrain which is lower than
thedrain hose connection on thedehumidifier.
